After all debugging is completed, technicians begin to explain the lightning impulse voltage generator test device. Therefore, the output voltage is not the test voltage, and it needs to be calculated based on the number of levels used and the actual test voltage. The calculated output voltage should be filled in the settings.
The device ball system adjustment has manual mode and automatic mode. After debugging, there is no need to adjust it in future tests. The instrument has multiple protection functions, emergency stop protection, voltage output lock, safety switch, and so on.
After introducing the instrument, start practical operation. We have selected a 10kV circuit breaker for on-site operation. The test voltage is 40kV. A 2-layer structure is selected for the test, and the required test voltage is 40kV. After calculation, the output is set to 21 kV. The test results show that T1/1.08 microseconds, T2/50.51 microseconds, and voltage are -40.42 kV. According to the national standard requirements, the experimental results T1 shall not exceed 30% and T2 shall not exceed 20%, indicating the completion of the experiment.
