  • Zhejiang company signs purchase and sales contract for comprehensive test vehicles for power engineering with Wuhan UHV

    Just as we entered 2024, good news came from Wuhan UHV. Wuhan UHV signed a milestone contract with Zhejiang Company for the purchase and sale of power engineering comprehensive test vehicles, further expanding the influence of Wuhan UHV in the field of power detection technology.

    In January 2024, Wuhan UHV successfully signed a purchase and sales contract for a comprehensive test vehicle for power engineering with Zhejiang Electric Company. This is another large-scale electrical control integration project for UHV power, following theUHV-315 transformer comprehensive test benchsupplied to Inner Mongolia customers at the end of last year.

    Last year, Manager Li of Wuhan UHV received an inquiry from the electrical engineering company regarding the power comprehensive test vehicle. Manager Li responded actively and communicated the test requirements with the customer's technical manager Zhang. Wuhan UHV engineer Peng tailored a comprehensive test vehicle plan for the customer based on their needs. The vehicle model is an Iveco bus, equipped with on-board instruments such asZGF series DC high voltage generator, high voltage series power frequency withstand voltage test device, DBF series electronic multiple frequency,UHV-340 high voltage dielectric loss tester,UHV-H100P high-precision loop resistance tester,UHV-300CT parameter analyzer, UHV-2572 grounding resistance tester,UHV-725 capacitance inductance tester,UHV-810 grounding continuity tester. UHV-S10A Transformer DC Resistance Tester,UHV-330 Transformer Ratio TesterBased on the dimensions of theUHV-310 transformer winding deformation tester, UHV-3000 on load tap changer tester, UHV-700 circuit breaker characteristic tester, etc., the vehicle layout was planned. Manager Li and Mr. Zhang discussed the details multiple times, and ultimately the customer chose to cooperate with ultra-high voltage and signed a contract.

    After Wuhan UHV produced the on-board instruments, they were sent to a cooperating modification factory. The modification factory modified the vehicle according to the plan layout, and the test vehicle was successfully modified in mid March. The customer applied for a license plate in Zhejiang with the certificate of conformity and purchase invoice provided by the modification factory. Currently, the vehicle has been towed from Wuhan to Zhejiang and delivered smoothly.

    The electric comprehensive test vehicle is based on Iveco buses and has a distributed centralized control system as its core. Through humanized modification, it provides a convenient mobile office environment for workers. The working power supply, control system, working platform, testing instruments, and storage cabinets are organically combined to form a mobile test platform centered on the test vehicle. It is mainly suitable for comprehensive testing of on-site power equipment, such as fault repair, routine testing, diagnostic testing, and handover testing.


    After 20 years of technological accumulation, Wuhan UHV has established a good brand image and ushered in the season of harvest. Customers of large-scale testing equipment such as non partial discharge series resonance devices, high current temperature rise systems, and transformer comprehensive test benches have all reported good use, all of which have made Wuhan UHV stand out among many competitors and become a leader in the field of power detection technology.
